Wrought to follow the shape of the head and reinforced with a low crest from forehead to neck, the helmet is elegant while still being comfortable to wear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe helmet gives full protection to head except at the throat. The \u003cspan translate=\"no\" lang=\"en\" class=\"notranslate\"\u003eBarbuta\u003c\/span\u003e was used mainly by the flamboyant Italian mercenaries of the renaissance and was favored with light troops for the mix of protection and excellent visibility.
