Kidney Bag

A Quiet Touch of Elegance for Everyday Use

The Kidney Bag offers soft sophistication wrapped in rugged utility. With its warm brown leather body and gently scrolling engraved floral or striped pattern on the flap, the kidney bag blends medieval function with a graceful flourish. It’s a piece built for practical use, ideal for LARP, reenactment, or faire-going, while quietly elevating your outfit with handcrafted charm.

This belt bag follows the classic kidney-shaped silhouette, popular from the high to late medieval periods. The curved profile isn’t just aesthetic; it helps the bag sit naturally along your waist, contouring with your movement and avoiding awkward bounce or shifting. Two broad leather loops on the back allow you to attach the pouch to most belts with ease, whether you wear it over a robe, tunic, or coat.

Inside, a spacious central compartment provides room for all the essentials you’d want close at hand, whether it's a wallet, phone, small prop, or a snack for the road. Two smaller stitched-in pockets let you separate coins, keys, or delicate items, so nothing clinks or clutters. The flap closure keeps your gear tucked away, while the thickness of the leather protects from bumps, weather, and prying eyes.

The decorative panel stitched onto the lid is subtle yet distinctive. It draws the eye without stealing the show, adding a delicate contrast to the leather's strength. The design makes this bag a natural fit for characters of all kinds, nobles, scholars, peasants and commoners alike, or simply anyone who appreciates a touch of detail in their medieval gear.

Built for use, not just looks, the Kidney Bag resists rain, dirt, and the rigours of long days at outdoor events. It’s part of Epic Armoury’s Yoremade collection, a line designed to blend historical understanding with wearable comfort, making it a trustworthy choice for seasoned adventurers and first-time customers alike.

Choose Your Look

The bag comes in two different styles to match your character:

• The Flower (Brown): This version has a pretty floral pattern on the flap. It is a great choice for healers, scholars, or nobles who want a softer look.

• The Stripes (Black): This version has a bold, lined pattern. It has a sharper look that works well for guards, scouts, or merchants.
