Water-based face paint is perfect for detailed fantasy looks like this: it blends smoothly for a soft two-tone base, holds crisp fine lines for swirling detail work, and washes off easily with soap and water. It's gentle enough for the whole face, including around the eyes, and can also be used on the body, beard, or hair for a complete costume look.

How to Apply Sorceress Makeup (Step-by-Step)

You'll need: a moist makeup sponge, a small detail brush suitable for face paint, the 4 Epic Effects colors above, and Epic Effects Setting Spray to finish.

1. Create the two-tone base.
Using a moist sponge, apply White to one side of the face and Gray to the other, lightly blending where they meet in the center for a soft, seamless transition.

2. Add white swirls over the gray side.
With a small detail brush, pick up White and, working on the Gray side of the face, draw swirls, lines, and curves flowing outward from the mouth for that elegant, enchanted effect.

3. Add gray swirls over the white side.
Using the same detail brush, now pick up Gray and mirror the effect on the White side of the face, drawing matching curved lines and swirls coming from the mouth to balance the design.

4. Finish with bold Bordeaux accents.
With the small detail brush, pick up Bordeaux and add short, abrupt lines coming from the mouth to punctuate the design and complete the sorceress look. Set everything with Epic Effects Setting Spray to keep it flawless all night.

Removal: Wash off with mild soap and warm water.
