Orders are typically shipped within two business days, though small delays may occur. We pay all necessary customs taxes or fees related to shipping.

If you are dissatisfied with a product, you may request a refund within 30 days of receiving the item. The product must be returned in its original condition. You are responsible for return shipping costs and are advised to retain proof of postage. Once the returned item passes inspection, the refund will be processed to the original payment method (PayPal or credit card).

Nordic Greaves

The Nordic Greaves from Epic Armoury combine the authentic look of steel armor and comfort of polyurea foam. While steel armor can be heavy, uncomfortable and require high maintenance to prevent rust, our Light Kit Armours will let you forget about any of the steel armor hassle. 

Created with weight, comfort of movement and utility in mind, Nordic Greaves are for those looking for authentic look with increased comfort. They are designed to protect the leg from shin to knee, including the kneecap, and can be adjusted with a full-grain leather strap. The greaves combine simple polished steel look with intricate Celtic-inspired ornament placed along the center of the greaves. Due to natural flexibility of polyurea foam, the armor can bend to the contours of your body, allowing for better mobility and faster movement. 

Each piece is hand-painted with durable acrylic finish and is detailed to look as realistic as possible. Our Light Kit Armours can be worn in any weather without causing damage. Made for fearless fighters, Nordic Greaves are a perfect addition to your LARP wardrobe.

Fit, adjustment & care

The strap system handles most sizing on its own, but for a closer fit, you can gently reshape the material itself using heat. Apply heat to the inside of the piece rather than the painted exterior, so the material becomes flexible without damaging the finish.

• Finish: The base material underneath the painted surface is black, so over time, scratches and general wear may reveal this black color underneath.

• Easy touch-ups: Minor cosmetic damage, such as scuffs or scratches can be simply repaired at home using a primer and acrylic hobby paints (such as Army Painter or Citadel).

• Leather care: The leather straps should be maintained like any other full-grain leather product, with occasional conditioning to keep them supple and long-lasting.

• A living finish: Wear and patina are a natural part of your armor's lifecycle and can be expected with regular use, adding to the authentic, battle-worn character of the piece.
