This Cotehardie is designed to provide a sharp fit without the struggle of custom tailoring. Most standard kit is cut wide to fit everyone, which usually means it bunches up and get in the way the moment you put on a belt or start moving. Because this is sewn to shape and uses a full row of buttons to close, it stays close to your frame. It’s for the character who needs to look sharp and stay agile, ensuring your clothes don't snag on your equipment or look sloppy when you're in the middle of a parley.

The velvet construction gives the Cotehardie Bonifacio a visual depth and a rich, vibrant style that immediately stands out. It is a fabric that catches the light and adds a level of sophistication to your kit, making it clear your character prioritizes their appearance. Beyond the aesthetic, the material has a substantial weight and texture that feels solid and holds its shape during active use. To ensure it performs in the field, the entire piece is lined in 100% cotton casement to keep you cool and prevent the fabric from clinging. The button rows allow you to adjust your look on the fly: leave them open for a relaxed camp vibe, or cinch the chest and sleeves for a sharp, tapered profile that stays out of the way of your gear.

Maintenance: Velvet is tough, but it hates being crushed or soaked. If you get it muddy, let the mud dry completely and then use a stiff brush to flick it off. Don't iron this garment directly or you'll "blind" the velvet; if it gets wrinkled, hang it in a steamy bathroom or use a steamer on the inside cotton lining only to pull the creases out.
