Ancient Civilization Outfits

Rome and Sparta, Ready for Battle

Ancient civilization outfits from Epic Armoury cover the two most iconic warrior cultures of antiquity: Roman armor and legionary equipment on one side, Greek and Spartan armor on the other. Galea and Corinthian helmets, scutum shields, muscled cuirasses, tunics, and foam-safe spathas and falcatas, every piece built for LARP combat, cosplay, and stage, and made to combine into complete kits. Whether you're outfitting a lone Spartan hero or marching a whole Roman legion onto the field, this is the collection that does it.

Roman Legionary Equipment

Rome conquered with uniformity: matched armor, matched shields, and a wall of discipline. Build yours the same way. The Roman tunic and belt are the foundation, banded legion armor and shoulder armor go over them, and the galea Roman helmet, plain or plumed for rank, finishes the silhouette every ruleset and every spectator recognizes instantly. Arm it with the Ready For Battle Roman sword and legion dagger, then raise the scutum: square for the classic legionary wall, oval for earlier legions and auxiliaries, with the black auxiliary shield for irregulars. Because the look is built on matching, this is the collection for group orders: a warband in identical galeas and scutums reads as a legion from across the entire battlefield, and shield walls are simply more fun with friends.

Spartan & Greek Armor

Greece fought the other way: the individual hero, sculpted in bronze. The Spartan musculata puts the famous muscled cuirass on your torso, with pauldrons, greaves, and bracers completing the limbs, and the Spartan armour set delivers the whole kit in one decision. Crown it with the Spartan helmet or a Corinthian helmet, the narrow-eyed bronze face of ancient Greece, in plain or plumed versions, and add the Spartan dagger for close work. It's a kit built to stand alone and be seen: three hundred not required.

Ancient Weapons for Both

Some blades belong to the whole era. The spatha brings the longer Roman cavalry sword, the falcata, in clean and battleworn finishes, carries the brutal forward-curved cut of ancient Iberia and Greece, and the ancient spear serves hoplite and auxiliary alike, the true first weapon of every ancient battle line. All are foam LARP weapons over fiberglass cores, safe for combat and weapon check.

From Battlefield to Camp

The theme doesn't end when the fighting does. The Roman fire pit and camp warmer keep the era alive around the evening fire, and pair naturally with our full [Camp Equipment] collection for a camp that matches the kit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Galea, Corinthian, or Spartan helmet, which fits my kit?
Galea for Roman legionaries, Corinthian for the classic Greek bronze face, Spartan for the Spartan warrior. Plumes signal rank and drama; plain versions read as rank-and-file.

Should I buy the Spartan set or individual pieces?
The set is the fast, complete answer for a new kit. Individual pieces suit upgrades, partial kits, and mixing with armor you already own.

Is the armor safe and legal for LARP combat?
Yes. The armor is made for active LARP wear and the weapons are foam over fiberglass cores. Confirm armor points and weapon rules with your event.

Can we outfit a whole group as a legion?
That's what the Roman line is for: matched galeas, scutums, and legion armor scale from one fighter to a full shield wall. Contact us for larger group orders.

Will these pieces mix with my other gear?
Yes. Everything combines with Epic Armoury's wider armor, clothing, and weapon ranges, and the tunic and belt work under most armor you already own.

March or Stand Alone

Join the legion or be the legend. Start with a helmet and a blade, build toward the full kit, and light the [Roman fire pit] when the day's battles are won.
