Outrider Armour Set

The Outrider Armour Set from Epic Armoury is all about comfort and efficiency in combat. To conquer your enemies, you need armor to increase your character's proficiency in combat, and this armor will not disappoint. This hybrid plate armor combines black leather and polyurea foam, creating a unique fantasy armor that can be worn for hours. This LARP armor looks authentic, and it will not rust or rot like traditional medieval armor. This armor set is easy to maintain, since polyurea foam armor is resilient in the heat and in the cold. It is perfect for LARP, Cosplay or events where prolonged use is necessary and was inspired by the horse lords and Nordic warriors.

The Outrider Armour Set consists of the following pieces:

• The Outrider Helmet is a mixed Celtic and Viking style helmet that has a raised central ridge, facial mask and cheek guards giving the warrior all the necessary protection to survive on the battlefield
• The Outrider Cuirass provides essential protection to the chest and back while maintaining a lightweight and flexible design. Thick leather straps ensure a snug, secure fit, making it easy to put on or remove in the heat of battle

• The Outrider Pauldrons are made to resemble 4 overlapping plates, with the top section made from rough leather, making it perfect for harsh LARP combat
• To protect arms from enemy attacks, this set includes the Outrider Vambraces that are made for those looking for light armor that will not restrict movements

• The Outrider Greaves have knee guards and are equipped with thick leather straps for a quick, easy fit

Rogues will appreciate the Outrider Armour Set for its weight and flexibility, and fighters will recognize them for its protection and durability in harsh combat. 

Fit, adjustment & care

The strap system handles most sizing on its own, but for a closer fit, you can gently reshape the material itself using heat. Apply heat to the inside of the piece rather than the painted exterior, so the material becomes flexible without damaging the finish.

• Finish: The base material underneath the painted surface is black, so over time, scratches and general wear may reveal this black color underneath.

• Easy touch-ups: Minor cosmetic damage, such as scuffs or scratches can be simply repaired at home using a primer and acrylic hobby paints (such as Army Painter or Citadel).

• Leather care: The leather straps should be maintained like any other full-grain leather product, with occasional conditioning to keep them supple and long-lasting.

• A living finish: Wear and patina are a natural part of your armor's lifecycle and can be expected with regular use, adding to the authentic, battle-worn character of the piece.
