MAN THE WALLS!
“So? You are claiming that the sidewalls of our garnison tent were accidentally ruined by a band of halflings conducting some race on the back of saddled boars wielding sticks and carrots? Do I look like an imbecile? Have you been sipping from the ale?” The bailiff threw the errant boy a look of scorching disbelief that made him cower in fear. Words had all but left him. He could not believe the story himself. The problem was that it was all true. He had been watching wide-eyed in the middle of the sudden rampage. Standing here, he only wished to somehow acquire a batch of new tent sidewalls and pretend all this had never happened.
Whether you need to replace a sidewall or wish to switch colours, this is precisely the spare part you need! The sidewall is designed to fit the Marquee Tent (6×12m) with our easy-to-use fastening hook system and specially designed tent wall poles. The fabric comprises 100% heavy-duty (425g/m²) cotton, weatherproofed with paraffin wax for extra durability. Note that six sidewalls are included in a complete Marquee Tent (6×12m). With correct maintenance, these tent sidewalls will keep you and your party sheltered throughout many adventurous seasons. Unless you encounter the rage of a red dragon wyrm or a similar series of unfortunate events!

Maintenance
Our tents and awnings are treated to be water-repellent and anti-mold, yet mold is an age-old issue with tents, so it's essential to take preventive measures, even though we can't guarantee complete control. Here are some guidelines to prevent mold:
-
Use a Groundsheet: we recommend the use of a groundsheet under the tent to reduce the moisture rising from the ground.
-
Ensure that the tent is pitched correctly so that water easily runs off the fabric and the tent is protected from leaks and mold formation.
-
Make sure the tent is completely dry before storing it, as damp fabrics encourage mold growth.
-
If the tent isn't fully dry before storing, it can develop a musty odor and compromise water-repellent coatings.
-
Do not store the tent in damp or hot places like a basement.
-
Avoid cooking inside the tent, as this can cause mold to form on the fabric.
-
Do not wash dishes inside the tent, as dishwater is one of the main enemies of the fabric.
-
Set up the tent on a dry, clear day.
-
Take extra care in high-humidity climates to prevent mold.
-
Do not hang a kitchen rag over a bar inside the tent, as soap residues can affect the fabric.
-
Ventilate the tent, especially when you're not using it.
-
Avoid pitching the tent under trees, as bird droppings and tree debris after rain can cause mold.
-
Regular Cleaning: Encourage regular cleaning of the tent with mild soap and cool water to remove dirt and organic materials, which can promote mold growth.
-
Check for Damage: Regularly check for any signs of wear or damage. Small rips or tears can let in moisture, which can lead to mold growth.
