Curved Scabbard – Leather

Every curved blade needs a proper sheath. The Curved Scabbard was designed with an idea of what it should be - a faithful leather companion to your sabres, cutlasses, falchions, and other curved swords that belong nowhere near a straight sheath. It is the final piece of gear that brings you kit from "almost there" to looking like you have been placed in a book of history or sea tale. 

If you’ve ever awkwardly shoved a curved weapon into a straight scabbard to the bemusement and concern of your peers, you know how terrible that feels. The blade looks bad, there is an odd protrusion - it's just not right. This scabbard solves that problem since it was purposefully designed for a curved product. The rounded sheath allows your sword to get into the scabbard naturally and ride against your side comfortably, flowing with you, instead of against you. 

Having sweat, dirt mud, and grime become "texture" is part of living with leather. It can be highly durable - a cowhide scabbard can take years of abuse, but over time, get soft and worn in a way that adventurers, soldiers and pirates alone can get away with. The finish will accept nearly any belt, pants or costume. You can also have the finish look bright and shiny, or lugged out and experienced like battle worn leather.

Practicality is built right in. The adjustable buckle system makes it easy to attach the scabbard to almost any belt, so you won’t waste time fiddling with awkward straps. Once it’s on, you’ve got both hands free and the confidence that your weapon is secure at your side. And when the moment comes, the draw is quick and smooth — perfect whether you’re stepping into a fight or making a dramatic entrance.
