  • Description

  • Technical Details

“We politely waited in the large room of the tent. The sound of her rummaging through equipment in the boudoir was clear, but none of us knew what to expect. Infiltrating the banquet would be difficult, for sure, and we knew all too well that it was her eloquence that would provide the information we needed. Suddenly she stood there, elegantly dressed, subtly armed and with a playful yet mysterious demeanour. I could not help but wonder what she stored in her room.”

Epic Armoury’s Tent Inner Wall is designed to compartmentalise our Marquee and Pavilion tents for adventurers who need a meeting chamber, sleeping quarters or a storage room. This model covers the entire wall and is easily attached to the top spikes of a centre pole and wall poles on each side. Therefore the wall should be attached while erecting the tent.

Maintenance

Our tents and awnings are treated to be water-repellent and anti-mold, yet mold is an age-old issue with tents, so it's essential to take preventive measures, even though we can't guarantee complete control. Here are some guidelines to prevent mold:

  1. Use a Groundsheet: we recommend the use of a groundsheet under the tent to reduce the moisture rising from the ground.

  2. Ensure that the tent is pitched correctly so that water easily runs off the fabric and the tent is protected from leaks and mold formation.

  3. Make sure the tent is completely dry before storing it, as damp fabrics encourage mold growth.

  4. If the tent isn't fully dry before storing, it can develop a musty odor and compromise water-repellent coatings.

  5. Do not store the tent in damp or hot places like a basement.

  6. Avoid cooking inside the tent, as this can cause mold to form on the fabric.

  7. Do not wash dishes inside the tent, as dishwater is one of the main enemies of the fabric.

  8. Set up the tent on a dry, clear day.

  9. Take extra care in high-humidity climates to prevent mold.

  10. Do not hang a kitchen rag over a bar inside the tent, as soap residues can affect the fabric.

  11. Ventilate the tent, especially when you're not using it.

  12. Avoid pitching the tent under trees, as bird droppings and tree debris after rain can cause mold.

  13. Regular Cleaning: Encourage regular cleaning of the tent with mild soap and cool water to remove dirt and organic materials, which can promote mold growth.

  14. Check for Damage: Regularly check for any signs of wear or damage. Small rips or tears can let in moisture, which can lead to mold growth.
