This bundle is perfect for those who do not want to use Collodion/Collodium, but want to achieve a realistic scar effect. Designed to build depth and dimension for a convincing wound or scar look, this bundle blends four shades that work together seamlessly: Bordeaux, Brown, Light Skin, and White. Buy the bundle and get one Water Based Make Up color completely free.
Water-based face paint is perfect for special effects looks like this: it blends smoothly for soft, realistic shading, holds fine detail lines for depth and texture, and washes off easily with soap and water. It's gentle enough for the whole face, including around the eyes, and can also be used on the body, beard, or hair for a complete character look.

How to Create Scar Makeup (Step-by-Step)
You'll need: a medium face paint brush, a damp sponge, a small detail brush, the 4 Epic Effects colors above, and Epic Effects Setting Spray to finish.
1. Draw the base line.
Using a medium face paint brush, draw a line in Brown along the part where you want your scar to sit on the face.
2. Blend and layer in Bordeaux.
With a clean, damp sponge, gently blend out the edges of the brown line to soften it. Then, using the same medium brush, pick up Bordeaux and trace over the line — it doesn't need to be perfectly even; varying the thickness in places actually makes the scar look more realistic.
3. Outline for depth.
With a small detail brush, outline the scar using Light Skin to create a raised, dimensional effect. If Light Skin is too pale for your skin tone, mix in a bit of Brown until it matches better.
4. Add final highlights and shadows.
With the same small brush, add White highlights along the scar for a fresh, raised look, then deepen the outer edges with Brown to add shadow and make the scar pop visually. Set the finished effect with Epic Effects Setting Spray.
Removal: Wash off with mild soap and warm water.
