Shop LARP and costume gear by theme at Epic Armoury. The Themes collection helps you start with a character world, period, or visual direction before choosing individual clothing, armour, weapons, masks, and accessories. Browse themes such as medieval, Viking, fantasy, Halloween, and other character-led settings, then follow the related collections to build a more consistent kit.
Choose a world for your character
A theme is a useful starting point when you know the kind of character you want to create but have not yet selected every item. Medieval and historical-inspired themes can lead to clothing, armour, helmets, swords, shields, and practical accessories. Viking-inspired themes may combine tunics, leather pieces, axes, shields, and travel gear. Fantasy themes allow more freedom to combine unusual silhouettes, masks, dramatic armour, and character-specific props.
Seasonal and horror themes can focus the search around a mood or event. Halloween looks may use masks, skulls, teeth, claws, makeup, and special-effects accessories. A fantasy or dark character can be developed through the same approach: choose the main visual feature first, then add supporting items that match its colour, material, and level of detail.
Build a themed LARP kit
Begin with the role and activities you expect at the event. A frontline character may need a different combination of armour, weapon, and mobility than a merchant, mage, scout, or entertainer. Clothing establishes the base layer, while belts, pouches, bags, headwear, and props add practical function. Check every product page for measurements, materials, fit, care, and event-specific requirements before ordering.
Use the theme collections as a discovery route, then compare the individual products that make up your chosen look. Epic Armoury’s themed range is designed to help you move from a broad character idea to a more complete costume and LARP kit.
Browse by theme and product family
Once you have chosen a setting, use the related collection pages to narrow the product search. A medieval theme may lead to helmets, armour, swords, shields, footwear, and clothing. A Viking direction can be built with tunics, axes, shields, leather accessories, and practical bags. Fantasy themes can combine historical references with masks, unusual weapons, dramatic headwear, and armour that supports a specific role.
Think about the character’s daily activities as well as the visual concept. A guard, fighter, scout, mage, merchant, or entertainer will need different combinations of movement, storage, protection, and costume detail. A belt pouch or satchel may be more important to a travelling character than another decorative layer, while a helmet or shield may define a frontline character at a distance.
Keep the final kit coherent
Colour, texture, and scale help separate a coherent themed costume from a collection of unrelated items. Repeat one or two materials or colours across the kit, and compare the finish of accessories with the main clothing and armour. Check product measurements and fit before ordering, especially when layering garments or combining headwear with masks and helmets.
Use the theme route when you want inspiration before committing to a single product family. It is also useful for group planning, because players can compare related settings and coordinate clothing, armour, weapons, and accessories without making every costume identical.
