Palace Guard Pauldrons PU - One Size
The Palace Guard Pauldrons from Epic Armoury are polyurea foam pauldrons designed to protect your shoulders and upper arms during combat. They combine the authentic look of steel armor and comfort of polyurea foam. Lightweight and maintenance-free, our Light Kit armor is perfect for those looking for an authentic look without the hassle.
The pauldrons are created with weight and comfort of movement in mind. Pauldrons are designed to resemble overlapping steel lames with a unique geometric design that covers your shoulder and a part of upper arm. Polyurea foam has a flexible nature, so it can bend to the contours of your body, allowing for better mobility and faster movement, making you faster and more energetic on the battlefield.
The Palace Guard Pauldrons are hand-painted with durable acrylic finish and detailed to look as realistic as possible, making undisguisable from real steel armor. The pauldrons are adjustable with the use of sturdy full-grain leather straps.
The pauldrons can be worn in any weather without causing damage and require no maintenance. Whether you're performing on stage or participate in LARP, this armor is a perfect addition to your character's wardrobe.

Fit, adjustment & care
The strap system handles most sizing on its own, but for a closer fit, you can gently reshape the material itself using heat. Apply heat to the inside of the piece rather than the painted exterior, so the material becomes flexible without damaging the finish.
-
Finish: The base material underneath the painted surface is black, so over time, scratches and general wear may reveal this black color underneath.
-
Easy touch-ups: Minor cosmetic damage, such as scuffs or scratches can be simply repaired at home using a primer and acrylic hobby paints (such as Army Painter or Citadel).
-
Leather care: The leather straps should be maintained like any other full-grain leather product, with occasional conditioning to keep them supple and long-lasting.
-
A living finish: Wear and patina are a natural part of your armor's lifecycle and can be expected with regular use, adding to the authentic, battle-worn character of the piece.
