Infantry Medium Deal
Epic Armoury’s Infantry Light deal is a deal for those of you who wants an armor set ready to go, while also being able to have room for some customization. The set includes Morion Helmt, Gambeson Warrior Long Sleeves, Soldier Shoulders and Ready For Battle Breastplate.
Epic Armoury's Morion is a steel helmet inspired by the 15th- to 16th-century Spanish conquistadors conquering the world for Gold, God and Glory. The Morion's brim is shaped to protect the head and face without obstructing vision, curved along the front and back. The skull-cap is reinforced with a long comb running from the forehead along the helmet's apex. Riveted cheek guards are fitted to the helmet, adding additional protection to the face.
The bestselling Epic Armoury Gambeson Warrior is a padded long-sleeve coat covering the torso from neck, down over the hips on front and back. It can be worn on its own or serve as essential padding under mail or armor. The gambeson is donned like a jacket and closed on the front with five leather straps with brass buckles. The arms are easily detachable by untying its cotton cords on the shoulders and sleeves, each cord secured through long-lasting brass eyelets.
Epic Armoury's Soldier Shoulder is a set of two shoulder guards with spaulders and pauldrons. The spaulder is made from a single plate, shaped to provide protection to the upper arm. The large pauldrons are also made from one plate, curved to sit over the shoulders and overlap the breastplate. This design offers more protection to the otherwise vulnerable armpit. The shoulder plates are fastened with leather straps around the biceps and at the shoulder, tying to a breast- and backplate with an adjustable leather shoulder piece. Epic Armoury breast- and backplates can be purchased separately and have fittings for mounting the shoulders.
Epic Armoury's Ready for Battle Breastplate is a handmade cuirass designed to protect the front of the torso and abdomen. The plate rests at the hips and has a small flange, or sword turner, that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armor fit together. Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this simple armor piece is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products.
