The Stronghold line of weapons is fully cast foam swords made to deliver maximum quality, rendering an outer latex layer obsolete. The patented ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer foam used to build these weapons has a very soft density, making the impact comparable to regular Epic Armoury weapons. An added benefit offers a much higher degree of detail on the handle and blade. Stronghold weapons emphasise high safety through a low energy transfer by impact, high durability, low maintenance, and a realistic appearance. THE BASTARD SWORD

“The sturdy heft of the blade sounds your opponent back. Your grip tightens around the sword as your eyes narrow. These opponents will apparently not back away from a fight. Luckily, you intend to give them just that.”

The Bastard Sword is for those who travel the countryside: The adventurer who roam the taverns in search of stories and new quests for fortune and fame and are sure of their combat prowess. You may not have the fame and influence of others, but words travel fast about your deeds and growing fortune.

The sword is available in either 96 or 114 cm and has a colour variant of Gold or Steel. All variants have a 67 cm fullered blade designed to be lightweight while maintaining its structural stability. Made from EVA foam around a fibreglass core and finished with strong and impressive paintwork!

The extended version exhibits a 20 cm long, highly detailed ricasso made from polyurethane foam that is sculpted and hand-painted to look like brown leather with stitching. The steel-coloured crossguard is embellished with subtle gold details, and the handle is cast and painted to appear like hardwood. A simple scent stopper pommel at the end of the handle promises that this no-fuss-sword will get the job done for you.

The sword is available in two lengths, 96 and 116 centimetres, and in three colour variants: Dark, Steel and Ivory. The standard for all variants is the 65-centimetre fullered blade designed to be lightweight while maintaining its structural stability. Made from EVA foam around a fibreglass core and finished with strong and impressive paintwork, this sword is just as soft as any latex-coated weapon but even more sturdy in battle!

The extended version exhibits a 20 cm long, highly detailed ricasso made from polyurethane foam that is sculpted and hand-painted to look like filigree-decorated steel embellished with subtle golden details.
